That's interesting, thanks Rob.I infer from the link that it's ok to camp above 450m in the Lakes provided you are out of sight of a road etc without seeking further permission. The NT site does also suggest that you might be granted permission to camp elsewhere, although I can't imagine them granting permission for Peel Island except for a very special occasion. I wonder if TARS could negotiate this for a suitable anniversary?
