Does anyone have any further information on what happened with the Windermere Car Ferry webcam provided by the FBA (Freshwater Biological Association)? A while back they stopped the hi-res version citing heavy internet load (which I can believe) and pointed people to a lo-res version but that's never worked. They speak of technical difficulties, but it's been quite a while.
I'm very sorry as I used to enjoy watching the cam every morning to see what the weather was like in the Lakes, and watching the occasional steamer or native canoe go past. Never saw an ice yacht, though.
