Thank you for your posting. I have a business colleague who lives in Darien, CT. We were discussing the origin of the name of the twon because of the Peak of Darien reference. I was wracking my brains trying to think where I had come across it. I combed through Milton to no avail. So it is Keats. This, of course, begs the next question. Keats is refering to Darien, presumably quoting from Homer. But I am too ignorant of the Odyssey and the Iliad to know where this can be found.
