To me, the one that might work is 'Coot Club-the Musical.' It is more contained, and by focusing on Dick, Dorothea and Tom, could be quite exciting. Sorry, but I think Port and Starboard's adventure down the Broads would have to be dropped out. (PM might work too)
I admit to actually enjoying the Lord of the Rings Musical (Lord of the Rings- The Highlight Reel), but that's because I already knew the story. I don't think we can expect that same level of knowledge with SA.
