Pretty clearly, whatever Beckfoot's bathrooms looked like, even after the redecorations, it wouldn't have been like that. And I have to say that from all the pictures I have seen of him (and Evgenia) AR would have regarded it as a bit of Hullabaloo style- and he'd have hated my taste in Swing and 1930s and 40s popular music too. But then he has been entertaining me for 60 years, not the other way about...
Where did you get those nice pictures? They look like a catalogue illustrations.
