Nothing wrong with your English, chum.
I was born in London and went to various English schools. So I have no excuses
as regards my English. On the other hand, English wasn't spoken at home and the
children's books that I was given when I was very small were not in English either.
When I was old enough I started buying the S&A series one by one from the pocket
money that I saved up. (Never got round to buying PD or GN until I was an adult.)
I failed my English Language O/L first time round and just scrapped through the
second. Perhaps AR English lessons just took a little time to sink in?
