Interesting that it poses the proposition that Tent Lodge was the prototype for Beckfoot.
I attach a link to Lakeland Cam for a view of the premises. It certainly has the feel of a Beckfoot location, but I had always imagined Beckfoot to be built in the local materials rather than with a white wall rendering.
