Indeed they have. And having the modern photo and older painting together for comparison, showed me that I was seeing the platform roof that turns right, as a separate building in the painting, whereas in the photo, it is quite obviously a corner. The next building is gone and it is it's remaining front wall that becomes the wall. The modern photo seems to show openings in the wall like the former building had, but I can't be sure from that and the other modern photos don't show it.

We are discovering lots of wonderful details as we share theories and location pictures!
