Luke -
Alan is probably suggesting this to me. Ted until recently was the stalwart of the TARS Stall and an expert in lightweight tents of the 1940s and 1950s, i.e. traditional tents. Yes, I've talked to him about tents generally, not specifically about this idea, his knowledge and his actual collection are phenomenal - he told me he had about 40 tents from this period stored properly and indeed used occasionally.

Though we are talking here not of an actual tent or brand of tents but of recreating a concept of period camping set around an unusual design of tent, I'm sure his advice will be of great use if it gets round to having tents made in the style of the Swallows'. Hopefully we'll progress that far!

Rob
