I say, you really do pass out the praises. Now, if only I can live up to the billing...
Having those chapters on file as TXT files is all very well, but they cannot be shared, due to copyright considerations. But it is a shame to just let them sit on my disk and others not get any benefit (legally) from them, so if a scan for a certain word or phrase will satisfy somebody's purposes, I am more than glad to make that run. It is no big deal - once one has access to those TXT files - which I do. And each time I do a scan for somebody, I, too, am learning even more about All Things Ransome.
I do suggest that if someone comes up with a request for such a scan, it would be better to make that request, not only on the public forum of the TarBoard, but also as a private EMAIL to me, because I might not read every entry, and thus happen to miss seeing the request - and I would not want someone to think I was trying to ignore them and their request - so the EMAIL will make me sure to see it. I'll be glad to get the response back to the TarBoard, or if the requestor in his email desires, I can make it just private back to that one person.
It will be my delight to do those scans, so ask away.
