C-62 was the largest and fastest steam locomotive built in Japan.
Holds the speed record at 129 kph.
Was mainly used between Tokyo and Osaka pulling the two most
famous "name" trains - the one called 'TSUBAME' (Swallow) the model
of which you introduced, the other (shades of AR) called "HATO"
(Pigeon). They used to take 7 and a half hours between Tokyo and
Osaka - a journey now accomplished on the Buller Train in not much
over a third of that time.
I have tried to attach a link - a video of the C59 and C-62 in
action but as I am an amateur at this stuff it probably won't
