After about half-a-dozen attempts to register a username or password
which hadn't already been allocated by Yahoo, I gave up.
Hurrah! David, you have no idea how much better that makes me feel. One great
feature of TarBoard is that we get casual visitors who have never been here before.
They will not understand why some links do not work and will regard it as an error.
As a point of principle, I believe that a site that does not require registration should
not casually employ links to resources that are behind a registration/log-on/active
cookie doorway.
