Apologies for the lack of response; computer has been in for
repairs for the last 10 days.
The Limited Express Train "TSUBAME" (Swallow) was introduced
on the main Tokaido Line on 1st October 1930.
The first transpation of SA into Japanese by Teruo JINGU and
published by Iwanami Shoten in Tokyo was in 1958 - as far as
I can find out.
So the train came first by nearly 30 years!!
