Gleetings to everyone from the AGM weekend at Rudyard Lake - the weather is (as usual) changeable, the company stimulating and the accommodation is, as Missee Lee would say, quite satisfactory. I found myself at the Sea-Scouts Centre watching the partakers of the nautical element when someone said, "Would you like to come for a sail in Coch-y-bonddhu?" Would I? You betcha!!! Before I knew it I had (under supervision) the tiller in my hand and experienced the thrill of sailing for the very first time. To do it in a boat once owned by AR was almost more than I could hope for.
The Camblidge Quiz is in an hour's time, so I'd better come down to earth and concentrate!!
We'd like to hear from all who can't make it to Rudyard - we will try to keep you posted through messages and through the Dragon Island Daily Informer.
