I got this message immediately, and it seems a shame that Mike should be impliedly criticised for letting us know where he is coming from. I always find that a few biographical details can help to 'flesh out', as it were, a TarBoarder's online persona, and can sometimes make you think you almost know them. Mike's previous experience helps me understand some of his previous postings, and I am thinking here also of the 'kid' ones! Another really good 'revelation' was the photo of Elizabeth in the TARSUS mag eating bunloaf - when I see her postings now it seems like a friend talking. Of course, no one should feel obliged to reveal any biographical details if they don't wish to.
