Maybe he made up Beckfoot, so the challenge then is to take the words and simple pictures and turn them into a real house plan, at least for someone like me who likes the concrete.
The picture of beckfoot with the D's on the Ridge is surely set in Coniston with the view down the lake.
As Ed says, it is just so much fun to think about it.
