The other day I had lunch with my lawyer (and her husband and their three children). The conversation turned to the S and A series, and Kate, her 11-year-old announced, "Oh, I love those books. I've got three of them." She ran and proudly showed me PD, WDMTGTS and SW. "good start," I said. "I'll get another one for you." She was highly grateful and now I have to undertake that most pleasant of tasks, searching out copies of the series. I can see birthdays and Christmas are going to be busy times for me. Another convert. I told her grandmother (who also loves the books) about the TARS website. Slowly, slowly, the word is spread and the seeds begin to sprout in receptive hearts.
