Many thanks to Robert Thompson for mailing me the tunes, and to Dave
Thewlis for posting them. Though I'm a musical dunce I can recognise
the Hills of the North tune as being almost certainly the one I know.
Complete certainty will have to wait till the next time I'm near a
piano or similar keyboard - I have very little natural sense of the
relative pitch of two notes, and so far I'm recognising the rhythm with
greater certainty than the pitch.

The S&A tune is also probably the one I remember but I'm less certain,
especially after the first bar, so my need for a piano is greater in
this case.

Do other people agree that there's some similarity between the two
tunes, or is it just a peculiarity of mine?
