This is indeed a sad development if it comes to pass. I too would miss it daily, and I agree that a TARS members only site would not be in the same spirit, but of course it hasn't been up long enough to let us see what it is about.
Before we all lose touch, I have enjoyed "meeting" most of you.
I checked the sub group, Tarboard on yahoo, and Ian is the moderator of that too. Is there the possibility that the yahoo group could become more active and serve as a substitute for this main site that Ian has so well run over the years? Can we discuss this quickly while we are all still in touch.
This feels like a sudden death in the family!
