Facebook has 1 supreme use--
It provides free and easy simultaneous email access
to members (up to 1000 I believe) of the various groups...
This enables an action group with something to say to get started at no cost ...
(My group:
"university of california alumni - no instate tuition for illegals"
is able to contact several thousand Univ of Calif alumni...)
Vigorous use of such Internet techniques could - by the reckoning of myself and many others (See Spectator, last week) have chilled the [US] causes of the recession for which we are all going to suffer; enough said.
