Can't remember if I've mentioned this. The coldest I have ever been was waiting at the bus stop in Bournemouth one evening. I remember thinking "This is the coldest I have ever been." I was wearing those horrible grey flannel shorts school boys wore in those days and the wind whistled up and around everywhere. I have never been so cold since then - even winter in Grande Prairie, Alberta, with the temperature 38 degrees below zero Fahrenheit, wasn't as cold. I have always been on the lookout for those scantily-clad girls with the object of reminding them they might catch their death of cold. I have even offered them the warmth of my car when I see them on the street, but strangely, they decline my offers.
