I'm sure that there were. I remember seeing Pathe colour newsreels from 1900- we used them in the first programme of 'People's Century'. They were colour scenes shot on the beach in Northern France. Very beautiful, astonishingly vivid and real. By 1925, I believe that Kodak were selling 16mm colour stock. Google says they were...
