Claude Friese-Green developed a system of using alternate red and green frames to create an illusion of colour. He made a film, travelling around the UK, to show off his system, of which this clip is part. There was a BBC series on this in 2006? presented by Dan Cruikshank, retracing C F-G's steps and interviewing some people who had been filmed.
