There are a few pictures of Brantwood and Peel Island in today's Lakeland Cam pictures. The second picture down of the lake side of Brantwood shows two upstairs rooms/windows that I always wonder if they had some influence on Ransome's North Pole. One is a square glassed in room and the other a smaller but very north Pole like structure.
