SW is low on my list of favorites. (Kind of like being someone's least favorite chocolate!) One irritant for me is that Titty, Roger, and Bridget wind up in some real danger while crossing the Red Sea. The problem is that chronologically, they (excluding Bridget)just got out of danger in the last book. The effect makes AR start to resemble some of those other children's writers, with improbable adventures on all sides. I half expect a spy to show up at the cannibal feast!
