May I suggest the Straw for the planking and ribs, either Rich Red or See Red for some details, such as the gunwale, vertical edges of the thwart(s) and sternsheets, and edges of the thwart knees. Picking out details like this has to be done judiciously or the effect will be of a carnival carousel.
