Hm. Yes, their translation seems a bit rough around the edges. Though I do like the idea of "cockpit" translating as "barrel"; there's some nice imagery there. And yes, if she's headed around the world solo in a small boat, I think it's fair to say that she can be assured from having a nice time.

That aside, while they don't post the lines or the displacement, it seems a reasonably sensible design: nothing extreme, by modern standards. Not "Goblin", and I like the Hurley 27's keel/rudder better, but she could go to sea in a lot worse.

"It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission" has a lot of merit, but since The Authorities (ugh) have gotten involved, I hope she gets the green light.
