Matthew's photo of Peter Duck's cave is in Swallowdale 3 - the one at the top of Tilberthwaite Gill which I wrote up in Signals and Outlaw after a group of us came across it 3 years ago. This is the only distinct valley with a cave in it that anyone has reported.
The valley shape is good - and at least you could get three small tents in it unlike Swallowdale 1 - and the waterfalls, the overall approach, and the trees on the way are all big ticks. It is also fairly quiet, as the main path, the old miner's track, runs well above it and the little path across the open moor crosses the stream on a bridge just before the valley proper.
However, Swallowdale 1 above the South end of Coniston feels to be in the right sort of location, but physically it isn't quite right. I guess yet again AR has combined features from different places/locations to create something new and distinct.
The positions for finding them on Google Earth are:
SD1 54o 18' 13" N, 3o 06' 05" W
SD3 54o 23' 53" N 3o 04' 49" W
I'm almost certain you can see the cave entrance on the east side of the valley!
