Wonder what AR would have made of all this going green, spreading carbon dioxide and saving the planet business. Like most fads, it's probably exaggerated. Well, I've lived in the real world for many years now and I think it's a pretty marvellous place. Never been chewed up, spit out on the sidewalk, etc. On the contrary, the people I have met in my travels around the globe have been uniformly pleasant, kind, helpful and courteous. I am now enjoying a long retirement spent gardening, travelling and photography, living with a son who for some reason has a jaundiced view of the world from time to time. He really has it pretty good too. Sorry for the smugness that comes though in this posting. Maybe its because the sun shining on the maple trees outside my door brings out their glorious autumn colours a fair treat.
