Let's return briefly to the books for children that have a map on the endpapers. A new candidate for that honour is "Return to the Hundred Acre Wood" by David Benedictus. For those who don't know, this is a sequel to the Winnie-the-Pooh books by A.A. Milne. I picked us a copy recently and instantly was back in that wonderful world. There are a few linguistic differences - after all, Christopher Robin has been playing with Pooh for over 80 years now, but Mark Burgess has done a great job in reproducing the artistic style of E.H. Shepard.
