Here is a picture of "our" loons and their pair of hatchlings.
One of them has survived the summer and will leave soon for the coast.
I hope it makes it and doesn't head for the oil-polluted Gulf of Mexico.
This is only the second time in our 22 years at this lake that there has been a successful fledging.
