Oh dear, you are being too literal about my passing comment! I merely used "watertight" as a quick way to say "repaired, varnished and ready to sail". Sorry - I didn't mean "tight".
Pattersons boatbuilders are well aware of the nature of clinker boats, and are always keen to keep a boat in traditional order. So please not not worry on that front! They are experts in this field.
