Not too far from one of the last real London tobacconists, Smith & Son at 74 Charing Cross Road, which must have been used by AR because of its range and knowledge of pipe tobaccos.

Cecil Court is still a fascinating alleyway in London, together with the parallel alleyway of St Martins Court. It was also at one time a mecca for the model railway enthusiast as it contained Hamblings model railway shop.
