In Winter Holiday, when using semaphore code, Nancy signalled, "SMT" which at first puzzled them all until Titty suggested it meant "Shiver My Timbers." And Dick signalled "NP" which Nancy understood to mean "North Pole."
Roger once questioned, "Why SAD?" He was commenting on the note staking the claim in the Gulch in PP, which of course was using the initials of "Swallows Amazons D's" as the name of the "organization" staking the claim.
How about that "PP"? Seems our In-Group has its own set of 2 letter identifiers for our beloved set of 12 books. That was one of the 12.
Perhaps I should not have spelled out "Winter Holiday" in the above paragraph, but used the "WH" symbol instead. You all would have known what I meant, as after all, this forum is for the "in-crowd."
