Here are three unfinished projects:
(1) In BS (15) “Rival Detectives”, Tom tidies up the Coor Club shed to make it into Scotland Yard. He says he “never finished cleaning that (primus) stove” and screws the burner back in so it will not get lost. Pete puts a lot of “junk” in a box in the corner, and Tom says that he will “get that vice off the table”.
(2) In WH (21) Captain Flint comes home to the houseboat and makes one “gasp at the mess in his cabin”, including “bundles of hazel sticks, remains of another experiment in making snowshoes”
(3) And in PP (29,30) they do not produce an ingot of gold!
