Fairly good examples of 'Estuarine' can be heard simply by listening to any BBC Television continuity announcer any evening. It encourages 'accessability' you see. I'm sorry this won't be much use to American correspondents. I heard 'strategy' pronounced as 'stra-egy' the other night, if that's any help.
All part of the great Dumbing. There's a brilliant, if depressing, book just out about all this sort of thing by Peter Hitchens, called 'The Abolition of Britain'.
