AndyB: Clever little rig. Unfortunately, once you've allowed for the heel of the bowsprit and the jib sheet leads, not much fits on the foredeck of a 19' sloop. Any folder I build will need to fit below, on the stbd bunk (sweeps and tucker-box live to port, along with the topsail yard in dirty weather). That's the trick with finding the right design: being able to wriggle it down into the cuddy.

If I can get the plans for one of those Berthons, I'd be pretty thrilled. They're quite nice, and the shape of them, folded, looks like it'll make for easier stowage than even a "Handy Andy". I've emailed the Berthon company; we'll see what happens.
