Just thought I'd reply with a courtesy note: Many thanks for your contributions, both of you. It has really helped.
It's a pity the publishers won't give out new covers but I understand the difficulty then when re-selling the books after my - heaven-forbid! - passing one day!
Incidentally, how do you know when you've got a cover from a later year on an earlier book?
