I am by no means a Ransome expert, but I did challenge your opinion that it was axiomatic that Ransome's books had to be based in reality by offering a few non-Ransome best sellers that werre far more removed from reality than Peter Duck. I don't see that responding to a statement I disagree with should be a reason for you to decide that I consider your opinions worthless as a whole.
