The Beckfoot boathouse is mentioned in all the “lake” books, as “the boathouse” used for both Amazon and the motor launch (getting a plank and replaced by Scarab in PM); no mention of two boathouses in SD that I can find. It is at the bottom of the lawn going down to the river and to the east or downstream from Beckfoot.
There are pictures of the front of the boathouse with the skull and crossbones in SD24 (chapter heading) and in SA19 (at dusk). In the view from the ridge lookout post (PM12) it is on the right of the picture. Text mention of “the boathouse” in SA11, SD23, WH23 (where CF’s sledge has been stored), PP2, & PM2.
The website reference says that the launch is kept in a separate boathouse at the mouth of a beck going into the River Amazon (?).
