Tomorrow, (Thurs 21st. the Olympic torch is going to get to Windermere.

The flame will be carried by steam boat on the lake on Thursday eve. It'll be travelling down from Keswick, through Grasmere to Ambleside. I think the steam boat bit is from Ambleside to Bowness. (That's Rio to you and me!)

Proposed timings: (All BST)
Keswick 16.30
Grasmere 17.38
Ambleside 18.18
Bowness 18.45

There is a live webcam following the torch which can be found through the BBC's web page, though it might not follow the torch onto the boat.

Should be fun to see some of the scenary.

A prize to anyone who spots a small varnished dinghy, perhaps with a couple of red-caps in it, or maybe one with an old patched sail...
