I spent an enjoyable week in England and Portugal. Thanks to Rob for showing me Swallow, Peel Island and the Dog's Home and a heap of other stuff. Thanks to Joyce and Rob for great tucker.
Note to self: Do not fly to London and drive to Lakes District, lose 2 days of travel to driving.
I have few good pictures of the Dog's Home, if there is a place to put them somewhere???
Has anyone read "The Snow Child" by Eowyn Ivey, it puts a twist on one to the Old Peter's Tales, although her inclusion of AR in the plot is a bit contrived. I read it in two sittings. A good yarn, different from my usual stuff.
