A Thorneycroft handy billy.

Massively overengineered. There was no need for a key
as the starting procedure was so complex nobody else
could start it. It involved opening a valve cap,
advancing the magneto, retarding it after start up,
adjusting the fuel feed, and then hand cranking it
just so. It idled at about 100 rpm.
