My extrapolations would be pretty close to that; I'm comparing Goblin to a 30-foot Broads yacht (Lydia, now at Martham Boats following the apparent sad demise of Southgate's) with a 10bhp Yanmar Diesel, which would do about 7kt under power (and slightly more under sail.) She's a bit bigger than Goblin but lighter and shallower draft.

The fiction isn't mine, but I've been chatting to the author and thought this would be a good place to get some details they need.
