Ah now... 03/01/12. Presumably the first of March, said with an American accent. I've always found the American date format to be plain silly. Month-day-year. Whoever thought that up? Units should progress- they do in every other field. It's like counting 1-2-3 as 2-1-3. Bonkers. Counterintuitive. I realise that this probably derives from using a readymade database programme designed in America, and it would be ridiculous to fool about modifying it but it would be so nice to use sensible units...
