The death of ex BBC newsreader Keneth Kendall was announced recently. When Mr Kendall retired from the BBC he hosted Channel 4's Treasure Hunt with Anneka Rice. The AR connection? One of the programmes visited the area around Coniston Water and one of the clues to the treasure was; 'and a possible Swallows and Amazons islands'. Does anubody remember this? I beleive it was pre TARS.
