What is odd is that Edgar Wallace mentions the words "Big Five" only ONCE per book!

'Big Foot' has a single mention: "he was one of the Big Five that smashed the Russian gang in Whitechapel"

'Terror Keep' has just one too: "said Big Bill Gordon, chief of the Big Five"

'The Door With Seven Locks' has "The Big Five at Scotland Yard filled Dick Martin's dining-room"

'White Face' has just "one of the Big Five, was fortunately in the neighbourhood"

'The Guv'nor and other stories' has only "Again the Big Five sat in conference and Mr. Reeder offered his views."

'The Hairy Arm' has just: "where he attended a conference of the Big Five at Scotland Yard"
