My first thought was 'No!' Then had a look at a few illustrations - and after looking at "Tall Dutchman" in WH realised that the casting was right!
Why do I have this image of Captain Flint being older and fatter (bald, yes. The drawing of him being loaded up in SD shows that!)
In the 1963 TV series he was played by John Paul (later in Doomwatch) who was younger and not so big as I imagined. When the 1974 film came along Ronald Fraser was physically OK for the part but in my mind too old and too pompous!
