Aunt Agatha – fictional inspiration for the GA?

Having recently revisited the Jeeves and Wooster stories, as interpreted by Hugh
Laurie and Stephen Fry on ITV in the early 1990s, I was struck by the similarities
between Bertie Wooster's Aunt Agatha, and Nancy and Peggy's Great Aunt.

Just coincidence, or could AR have been inspired by P.G. Wodehouse's creation?
