Dear All:

Well it has been a while since I posted, life is busy. I just finished PM again and enjoyed the read. My 8 year old daughter is not interested, hopefully I can wean her onto the books.

I just got my Signals. The letter from Hugh Brogan was interesting. I wrote something similar, although I was much more pithy in my comments on the magazine. However, the next letter floored me no end. Roger's comment on "The real places are tempting to visit, but when you are there, you are as far away from the land inhabited etc etc etc...

Cobblers.

I spent a most enjoyable day with Rob Boden, and dinner with his charming wife, Joyce, in the heart of the Lake District, if Roger thinks that compares to time in Texas he is sadly mistaken.

of course his sentiment is "it is all make believe" - which it is, but so are all books in reality, even a autobiography must be viewed with a truck load of salt.

Back to the point of the post, the dates on my computer when logged onto Tarboard, show up in the US Format: MM/DD/year. I thought it might have been a setting I set, but it is not.

Any ideas.
